This South African wild plum showered me with sap as it spun on the lathe. Some woods respond well to a lot of attention while 'green,' then left to dry and mature, like us in childhood. To enhance this piece it has been ebonised and decorated. It stands large, proud, bold, full of confidence, ready to work.
