This larger piece is taraire at its best; swirling, contrasting tight grain. This tree, of a little-known species, has weathered many a storm and the story is told in the grain. Like an introvert, unnoticed, quiet, is the taraire. Under a textured bark are swirling colours and grain. Sometimes only close friends see the treasure within, recognising there must have been some good storms weathered. This product has been carefully finished in environmentally friendly natural oils and waxes.
