As we age, we mellow. We are more relaxed about seeing the other point of view. Some would say we soften. Others that we are more comfortable in what we believe; experience has been a great teacher. Timber does the opposite. The older, the harder. Puriri was used as foundations for settlers’ homes. Unblemished puriri is a rare find for the woodturner. This piece is enhanced with the strong contrast of the heart rimu lid, a similar hard wood.
This product has been carefully finished in environmentally friendly natural oils and waxes.
