New Zealand has a lot of bush. Going bush is healthy. Whether for a days walk, or a major trek. A coastal walk or tramping right around Stewart Island. There is something almost magical about walking in our bush. There is no fear of snakes, or other fearsome critters. The smell, the birdsong, the hush. The bush is the great get-away to recalibrate, to share with others, to shed the city dramas and balance again. This piece captures the richness I’ve experienced in the bush.
