Ash is an exotic in New Zealand, a non-indigenous. Because ash is robust yet flexible its wood was used extensively cut into fine strips and laminated together into tennis rackets. From a tree on the fertile flats of Omaha, this ash wood has a pith running through it. The pith is the very core, from the sapling. This can be a weak part of the tree, but here creates decorative fingers which reminds us that the goodness we have from our very beginning continues to reach out all our lives through.
This product has been carefully finished in environmentally friendly natural oils and waxes.
